An Unlikely Candidate

God choose Mary, a female, who was poor, and young, to be the Mother of Jesus. Female, young, and poor in her day people would've deemed her as unusable by God. Yet God choose her for the most important act of obedience ever demanded of any other human being.

Luke 1:27,28

"In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin's name was Mary. The angel went to her and said, "Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you."

Often we feel like we lack the ability ,knowledge, and experience to serve God but God uses the lowest to confound the wise. So don't ever doubt God's wisdom in choosing you to serve Him. He can use you if you trust Him. God uses the most unlikely of candidates!
